Putting tape on a broom sounds very strange, but it has a really ingenious background. Because when you normally use your broom, you always also have the problem that all the dirt gets stuck in the broom.

This means you have to wipe out and clean your broom every now and then. But if you put tape on your broom instead, you won't have this problem in the future.

To do this, you need some double-sided tape and stick a strip of it to the front of your broom. Now take off the protective foil and sweep as usual. The advantage of this is that all the dirt now sticks to the tape.

So you stir up less dirt and the broom itself stays clean. At the end you can remove the tape and dispose of it. This way all the dirt is removed and the broom stays clean.
