Yes, there is evidence of water on the Moon! Over the years, scientists have made fascinating discoveries indicating the presence of water ice in various forms. In 2009, NASA's Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite (LCROSS) mission detected water vapor and confirmed the presence of water ice in a permanently shadowed crater near the Moon's south pole. Since then, multiple missions and studies have provided further evidence of water ice in other regions as well.
