Megyn Kelly Exposes the Woke Agenda at ESPN

ESPN is one of the many institutions in America completely captured by the woke mob.

But the tide is starting to turn.

And Megyn Kelly dropped the hammer on ESPN for this woke crusade.

Bud Light and Target felt the wrath of Americans fed up with companies imposing the woke agenda on their customers through culture war activism.

ESPN is right up at the top of the list of companies that offended their core base by virtue signaling to the social justice warriors.

Former “SportsCenter” anchor Sage Steele explained just how brutal life inside ESPN was for conservatives.

ESPN suspended Steele in October 2021 after Steele appeared on former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler’s podcast and spoke her mind on political issues.

Steele blasted ESPN’s COVID vaccine mandate as “sick and scary” and wondered why Barack Obama identified as black while erasing his white mother from existence.

ESPN yanked Steele off the air in what Steele saw as an act of blatant double standards as the network allows on-air talent to spout off about their woke politics.

“To me, it was very different compared to what you just played. Listen, all I ever wanted was consistency. And if we are allowing my peers to go on social media, much less on our own airwaves, saying things that have nothing to do with sports, that are political, that are not true — quite often because the parental rights bill in Florida is not what many people claim that it is. Most people apparently didn’t take the time to read it,” Steele added.

Several months after ESPN suspended Steele for expressing her opposition to COVID mandates and Barack Obama’s identity politics, ESPN announcers Courtney Lyle and Carolyn Peck sat in silent protest at the start of the second half of a South Carolina-Howard NCAA Women’s Tournament basketball game over Florida legislation banning teachers from indoctrinating children in grades K through 3 into the transgender lifestyle.

The two went on an insane woke rant about teachers needing to impose transgender ideology on children.

“And a threat to any human rights is a threat to all human rights. At this time, Courtney and I, we’re going to take a pause from our broadcast to show our love and support for our friends, our families and our colleagues,” Peck said in explaining their silence to viewers.

Steele said ESPN enforcing one set of rules for liberals and another for conservatives was the final straw.

“Then I should be allowed on my personal time to give my opinion on my experiences personally without telling others what to do or how to feel about being biracial or being forced to take a vaccine. And I think that’s just what breaks my heart, is that there were different rules for me than everyone else,” Steele continued.

Steele then sued ESPN for violating her First Amendment rights and recently settled the case leading to Steele announcing her departure from ESPN as well as her desire to continue exercising her right to free speech.
