Because lemons can be very helpful in your detergent compartment. This will get it really nice and clean again! Remove the compartment of your washing machine once. Now you can add some lemon juice.

Of course you can also use citric acid, if you don't want to waste lemons. Leave it to soak in for a short time and then start wiping everything out. Thanks to the citric acid, all the dirt will be removed from this compartment.
