Summer weather is calling everyone outside, but doctors day it's time to remind people to stay safe when having fun in the sun. When temperatures reach into the 90s, there's a higher risk of getting heat stroke. Dr. Alison Marciniak from Sparrow Hospital says, people may have "too much fun" when the weather warms up and many of them end up in the emergency room. Dr. Marciniak says if you're suffering from heat stroke, take a cold compress like an ice pack and place it under your arm pits, behind your neck or near your groin area to quickly bring your body temperature down.
