Republicans Are Staging A Legislative Coup

Republicans are now carrying out a legislative coup by rigging a decade of elections. They have gerrymandered unbreakable majorities in Texas, Georgia, Ohio, North Carolina and several other states. Experts say Democrats are nearly out of time to stop them.

Democrats could save American democracy by passing the Freedom to Vote Act & John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act. The bills have stalled in the Senate because of a Republican filibuster. Biden now says he supports a filibuster tweak to pass them — the future depends on it.
