Mystery Creature Befuddles San Antonio Neighborhood

Our guess? Mixed-breed dog. Hey ... a neighbor used to have a Beagle / German Shepard mix that resembled a thick log with stubby feet and teeth. (Salute and Peace, Princess Jasmine!)

1. Looks like rough outside coat only, not mange. 2. If a coyote/dog hybrid, very heavy on the dog as coyotes have thin, wiry frames. This thing has heft. If anything, esp with that terminal tail spot and thick head, it looks like a lioness in the second picture! Strange that are the things roaming the Outer Territories, Occam's Razor still rules and can be quite the spoilsport.
