ercedes-Benz are known for an extensive line-up of passenger vehicles
to suit almost any need. Between 1992 and 2014, they sold the CL Coupe
as their flagship grand tourer, for the well-heeled who preferred
driving to being chauffeured around, and wanted a two-door S-Class to
roll around in. The CL-Class nameplate came to an end post-2014, but
the model didn’t die. Instead, it was incorporated into the S-Class
line-up, as the S-Class Coupe and Convertible. What we’ve got on sale
