Historic North Buffalo home opens it's doors for unique fund raiser
The house on Woodbridge in North Buffalo was the childhood home of artist Robert Noel Blair. Susan Shea and her husband moved in eighteen years ago and never knew the history of the home. Susan says "we were attracted to the style." Once the couple discovered that the house had been the Blair family home, they learned as much as they could about it. Now the home will be the sight of a unique fund raiser. Robert Blair's son Bruce has provide some of his Dad's works of art, which includes piece never before displayed. There will be an art show June 17 and 18th to benefit Buffalo Suzuki Strings. Susan says she wants to do this because her children are graduates of the popular music school and she wants to share the fascinating history of the home and it's one time occupants, adding that "Bruce Blair will attend the event to share family stories." Tickets are $25 and available at the Buffalo Suzuki Strings website.
