Pakistan's government says all eight people - including at least six children have now been rescued - after they were trapped for hours in an improvised cable car, dangling a thousand feet above a ravine.
The group, who were on their way to school when one of the car's cables snapped, were stuck in the cable car hundreds of metres above a ravine for hours. Pakistan's caretaker prime minister, Anwaar ul Haq Kakar, said he was relieved, and thanked all of those who were involved in the rescue.
