Random Rants: BLUE BEETLE BOMBS! DC Adds Yet ANOTHER Box Office Flop, Making It #3 For 2023!

After James Gunn announced the DCU Reboot, it was a sure bet that the 2023 DC film slate would struggle mightily. Shazam: Fury of the Gods and The Flash both flopped, making it almost certain that the little known Blue Beetle would suffer the same fate, and so far, early numbers show it will only make about $25M in its opening weekend. Although it has solid Rotten Tomatoes scores, positive audience word of mouth, the film will need to bring in somewhere in the neighborhood of $350M in the worldwide box office in order to break even.
