A military rescue in pakistan is under way for the six children and two adults trapped in a cable car over a ravine in the country's North-West.
The group were on their way to School where on the cable snapped, leaving it dangling 274m(900ft) above the ground, official said.
Pakistan's acting minister Anwar ul Haq kakar has ordered rescuers to attend to the "alarming incident in Battagram".
Helicopter have reached the car but the resue's status is unclear.
