Hi guys! In this video, we are taking you to Islamabad - the capital of Pakistan and one of the greenest metropolises in Asia.

We started our trip in Lahore, where we jumped on a 4-hour-long bus ride to Islamabad. Along the way, we booked a nice place to stay that had all the amenities we needed.

Unfortunately, upon arrival, we learned that Booking.com had the wrong location and we were actually an hour away, but we had no other option so late at night and decided to go there anyway. The next morning we headed for the Blue Zone, where we found another place to stay much closer to the city center.

This is where our real Islamabad adventure starts, but before we go any further, I’d like to tell you about the sponsor of this video, the incredible Adobe Express.

Now back to our Islamabad trip, this time with sort of an unpleasant story. Chloe and Tyler had a somewhat dangerous encounter with a group of young people trying to extort money from them, but luckily everything turned out well, so they came back to the apartment safe and sound.

Staying in Pakistan, we realized finding a reliable taxi service was a challenge, especially traveling as a family of 5. Fortunately, after several unsuccessful attempts, we were able to get in touch with Adnan, an amazing guy who used to live all over Europe.

He was our gentle giant who doubled as a bodyguard and tour guide during our stay in Pakistan and we were so grateful to have found him. He agreed to take us all over the capital to visit all spots worth seeing around town.

Our first stop was a nice restaurant on top of a local hill overlooking Islamabad. There we had a filling breakfast and enjoyed the gorgeous views.

From there, we moved to the impressive Grand Mosque in Islamabad. Its magnificent architecture and serene ambiance left us in awe. We were immersed in the tranquility of the prayer halls and marveled at the intricate craftsmanship that adorned every corner. The Grand Mosque stands as a testament to the deep-rooted spirituality and devotion of the Pakistani people.

Next on our itinerary was the Petals Monument, a symbol of unity and diversity in Islamabad. The striking monument, with its vibrant colors and interlocking petals, beautifully represented the harmony among different cultures and religions. We were captivated by its artistic design and the message it conveyed.

Then we were transported back in time inside the renowned Pakistan Museum, a treasure trove of history and heritage. With its vast collection of artifacts, ancient relics, and cultural exhibits, we embarked on a journey through Pakistan's rich past.

We had been going hard for some time under the hot Islamabad sun, so we decided to take a break and indulge in some delicious local street food.

But a visit to Islamabad wouldn't be complete without experiencing the breathtaking beauty of Lake View Park. Nestled amidst lush greenery and offering panoramic views of the lake, it was a haven of tranquility. The park provided a perfect escape from the bustling city, allowing us to unwind and relax.

And that's not all! Stay tuned as we take you on an exciting journey through the vibrant markets of Islamabad. From bustling bazaars to modern shopping malls, we will explore the vibrant local markets and showcase the diverse range of handicrafts, textiles, and spices that Islamabad has to offer.
