Amazon Worker Targeted & Fired For Supporting The Union

Amazon’s illegal union-busting has hit a new low. In June, Sharon Bogat-Weathley, a pro-union worker at JFK8, went to the Labor Notes convention in Chicago. Photos of her with union organizers were posted online. Amazon fired her the first day she came back to work.

Amazon has embarked on a brutal crackdown on pro-union workers after Amazon Labor Union won its NLRB election on April 1st. When she got fired, a manager told Sharon that she had six write-ups for poor performance. They gave zero proof.
