Sometimes very rarely, you can experience perfect days, that is very spiritually uplifting, when one is in communion and in synchronicity with the universe.
In recent years, we quite unexpectedly experienced 2 such days, both while filming for fun (actually testing equipment) out in nature.
This is day 2 – A short called – A perfect day in the company of horned owls .

This beautiful sleepy orange color-morphed female horned owl
(Asio otus) is filmed on location in mid march.
At a winter quarters for horned owls. This other-vice very anonymous owl-species form communal winter colonies for horned owls.
The owl hen, was filmed just 2 days before, we believe, she left the colony and flew to her summer territory, for breeding with her mate.
The plumicorns or the ear tuft of feathers, is raised and she looks like the pokemon Pikachu.
She feels secure and she is very sleepy and relaxed, as her eyes is closed.
The plumicorns are believed to be used in owl-to-owl communication. But if a horned owl feels threatened or is disturbed, their tufts can be flattened down.
If the horned owl is cornered and scarred, it will first stare and rapidly blink it’s eyes and then try to fly away.
If flight is impossible, horned owls will. Depending of the size of the threat.
Either do the transformer owl thing, where the owl turns into a twig of feathers.
Or puff up like a blowfish, with its wings spread and begin to make clicking noises with its beak and rock from side to side, to maximize its size.
