These ribs are so good, Jason Aldean would love em! Today we have 4 racks of St Louis Spare ribs and 2 racks of Baby Backs. All have had the membranes removed. They are seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic powder and #killerhogsbbq The BBQ Rub. Season the top and the bottom. We are smoking on the #oklahomajoes #longhornsmoker running at 275 degrees with #pecan #woodsplits . The ribs first went on for 3 hrs or until they reach the right #mahoghany color you desire. Remove and wrap in foil face down in a 1/4 stick of butter, your favorite bbq sauce & rub. We are using #blueshogbbq Championship Blend. Wrap and place back on the smoker for approx 2 1/2hrs, then remove and place on a foil covered cookie sheet and baste on a thick layer of sauce, do not cover, and place back on the smoker for 10-15 minutes. If you are eating them immediately, let them rest 20 mins or so. If you are saving for another day you can wrap in plastic wrap and make it airtite then wrap in foil and place in the refrigerator or the freezer. To Reheat If refrigerated, preheat the oven to 250 and place in for 30-45 mins. To reheat if frozen, preheat over to 350 for 30-45 mins. Thanks for watching and leave me a comment.
