Kochur Loti is also known as colocasia stems/Taro Stolon, it has calcium oxalate crystals that can cause itchiness if not cooked properly. It requires cooking with high heat or lime juice to remove the oxalate crystals. The origin of this delicacy can be traced back in many traditional household kitchens in Bangladesh.
