Some people see the #moon upside down 🌓

Since Earth is round, people living in Australia or Uruguay see the Moon, stars & constellations,upside down' relative to what we people in the Northern hemisphere are used to. This post is dedicated to explain one of the most popular misconception that, on the same day, people on different countries see different phases of the Moon.
The moon's orientation with respect to your horizon shifts throughout the night because we live under a curved dome of sky. Think of the curved arc traveled by the sun during the day. The moon and the stars follow similarly curved paths.

We see the same Moon phases simultaneously but upside down to one another. In New Zealand, we see the constellations upside down to those in the northern hemisphere. And the same applies to the Sun and Moon, we see them upside down as well.
