Are Doulas The Answer To Reducing The Black Maternal Mortality Rate?

Black women are 3x more likely to die during childbirth than white women. Doulas could be the answer to reducing the Black maternal mortality rate, but most insurance plans don’t cover doula care. Now there’s a movement to cover doulas through Medicaid & private insurance.
