Laura Ganich is 87 years old. Due to persistent Ukrainian shelling, she’s found herself alone in Donetsk. No one assists her; she continues to work and shop independently. Despite putting her life at risk daily on her way to work, or while doing her routine tasks, Laura Petrovna isn't shaken, but she’s exhausted. In her childhood, she endured the harrowing events of the Leningrad Siege: 'There was war in my childhood, and even now, when I'm old. I never thought it could happen. Never!' However, even amidst constant Ukrainian shelling, the Leningrad Siege survivor lives in Donetsk, a city dear to her heart. Why has she refuse to leave?
