The Local Teen Who Made the National Geographic Bee Finals!

Students from 10,000 schools across the United States competed in the 2017 National Geographic Bee. Those students were narrowed down to 54, and they took part in the National Geographic Bee Championship in Washington DC. Our Wisconsin representative, Thomas Wright, finished in 2nd place! We met Thomas last year when he finished in the top ten, and he joins us once again to discuss this year's competition.
