“Good morning Ukrainians. Do not believe fake news. I am here. We will not lay down our weapons. We will defend our country. Our weapons are our strength. This is our land. Our country. Our children. We will protect all of them,” Zelensky said in the video, which he posted on social media.

With Russian troops circling Kyiv, Biden offered to evacuate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Zelensky response was, “The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride.”

Zelensky has said that he is Moscow’s “No. 1 target” and that Russian "sabotage forces" were in Kyiv and hunting for him and for his family.

"This might be the last time you see me alive," Zelensky told European Union leaders during a video conference on Feb. 24, 2022.

Tonight, they will launch an assault. ... The fate of Ukraine is being decided right now.
