Welcome to my first ever epic cheat day! First time ever in my life I'll be attempting to eat 10000 calories. We are going to 3 different restaurants here in Calgary. I wonder what all that food is going to do to my abs. I'm not sure when the 10,000 calorie challenge started but I think it was when the Rock started posting his epic cheat days and meals back in 2013? Since then it has become almost a YouTuber right of passage.

Our first stop is the 1886 Buffalo Cafe this over 100 year old building once housed the offices for the lumber mill and power company that for many years built and powered this city. Now it is one of the best places to have breakfast just outside the downtown core.

Braeden, is joining me for this challenge. He is a vegetarian which will be interesting to see if this makes it more difficult to get in the required caloires.

Braeden did all the music for this project wrote recorded and played all the instruments. If you would like to hear more of Braeden's work his Instagram is @braedenblanks and his soundcloud is http://www.soundcloud.com/bblanks

Are next stop is The Canadian Brewhouse the first one opened up right here in Alberta, and is steadily growing across Canada. The Brewhouse has a uniquely Canadain feel surrounding you with Canadian sports memorabilia and history, it's just like coming home. We are having the Rita challenge a 6 patty burger with a large poutine. Allegedly 5 pounds of food.

Our final stop is The Hose and Hound it is and old fire hall built in 1906. The pub looks quite modern these days but with a nostalgic feel. Nostalgia isn't the only thing some of the staff have felt. Back when it was a fire hall the captain had many pets one was a monkey named Barney. Unfortunately the monkey had gotten aggressive and had to be put down, but his spirit never left. Oven doors opening and closing all by themselves. The dishwasher turns on by itself the pot belly stove will move from one spot to another overnight. A lot of monkey business going on.
