Dashcam: Bullsnake Speed Bump - That's NOT A Stick!

LOOKED like a stick or tree branch. Where none should be. And the first sight pretty much matches the dash cam: an unmoving, light-colored from sun glare, pole-shaped object. Temp was low to mid 90s and seemed too hot for basking out in it but obviously whatta I know?
Getting used to quick ID of this large, abundant, rattler-mimic species. But a creepy "new" observation here of how it holds it head up as it retreats. Maybe that's common since that's the first to vanish into the grass when they flee. Glimpse of perhaps same one in this area as first for season; also looks about same size as one seen in garden, 60 yards away. But still smaller than that one that had to be cut out of a ball of garden netting after climbing up coal shed wall going after a swallow nest.
