UK Pickup Truck Speed Limits #shorts

Just a quick video on the different speed limits for pickup trucks with an unladen weight of over 2040 kg.

Speed limits vary between different pickups for sale in the UK, this can leave many with a nasty surprise if they are unaware of how fast they are legally allowed to travel in their pickups. Not only are they different from model to model, some pickups even have different speed limits between trim levels.

Some of the newer pickups for sale are heavier than previous models and as such are too heavy to be classed as 'dual purpose vehicles' and as such are subject to standard LCV speed limits which are 10mph slower on single carriageways and dual carriageways.

Some versions of the models mentioned in this videos have an unladen weight of over 2040 kg and would therefore be affected by these lower speed limits on some uk roads.
