Oh wow. I thought this was just a campy hometown buffet commercial, but now we've gone down the buffet rabbit hole. A smorgasbord of information, if you will. Anyway, now we need to talk about Homer: The Buffet King.

Um, slow down a minute Mark Albright, author of this article from The Tampa Bay Times. What do you mean buffet king. What does that mean? Does that mean something in Florida? He did own over 150 buffets at one point. I guess that would make you a buffet king. Also we got to talk about his name. Homer Duff? Did Matt Groening run into him at one of those Buffet's as he's writing The Simpsons. The guys name is Homer and Duff. I think his dad was named Homer, but after seeing this Buffet King, I'm thinking Matt was feasting at Homer's buffet one day and he met him. He said, this is a sign from the God(s) and the Buffet King(s). Then he made Duffman too. You know, because his last name is Duff. Also, this article was written in 1995. But the website says it was "updated" on Oct. 4, 2005. WHY DID YOU DO THAT MARK ALBRIGHT? There are no obvious edit. Why did they go back 10 years later and update the article about the Buffet King? What was in there that they don't want us to know. I know it was 18 years ago, but we need answers Mark Albright. Thought you could get away from me didn't you. You never counted on the power of Autism!

I'm not sure Homer's Buffet is still around. It's now Homer's Original Smorgasbord.
