Thornbury Food Fair
Thornbury's highly successful Food Fairs brought together the best of local producers with members of the popular Thursday Farmers Markets, providing a wide range of fresh produce to suit all tastes, and a chance to socialise with friends and neighbours.

In 2016 Thornbury Chamber decided to discontinue the fairs for a number of different reasons - some personal, some operational. A key factor was the loss of parking for traders' vehicles at the former South Gloucestershire Council offices on Castle Street.

On behalf of Thornbury's hungry shoppers, Thornbury Chamber would like to take the opportunity to say a huge, huge thank you, especially to Penny Skinner and Rowena Moncrieffe at Bonds of Thornbury for organising the fairs, and to all the traders for their hard work and support over the years, particularly those who were with us from the start and who came out in all weathers for each event – it was a pleasure to meet you all, to work with you and most of all, to enjoy the lovely food that you all work so hard to provide.
