Reporter tells the Mayor of Maui that he’s a disaster when asked about children missing

A reporter asks the mayor of Hawaii directly about how many children are missing and he says he doesn't know even though he likely does.
The media then calls him a disaster.
"You're a disaster. You've been the worst mayor we can possibly imagine.
Respect? Respect what? This is the most dismal response we've ever had."
How can they be this incompetent unless it's on purpose?
I don't understand what's going on in Hawaii but it's sad to see.
May God heal their land.
