86 year old woman beaten unconscious and robbed

Elderly woman beaten unconscious in LA — then robbed as she lay in the street.

Surveillance footage, recorded by an MTA bus and disclosed by the LAPD, reveals an 86-year-old woman rendered unconscious on an Adams-Normandie sidewalk while bystanders look on.

Subsequently, a man wearing a beanie and a New York Yankees jacket exits the bus and searches through her purse rather than providing assistance, as seen in the video.

Witnesses nearby and a passenger still on the bus attempt to intervene, yet the man brushes them off and steals the woman's wallet.

Police are still searching for the thief.

LAPD described the thief as a man in a beanie and a New York Yankees jacket between 40 and 50 with a mustache or goatee.
