Lifelike humanoids on show at Beijing Robot Conference

The displays at the 2023 World Robot Conference in Beijing range from the now-ubiquitous automated good boys, to ‘dabbing’ robots (yes, that’s still a thing), to humanoid creations so lifelike you’d be forgiven for thinking they were the engineers.

Over 600 exhibits are being showcased at the event, including potentially life-saving fire safety and flood drainage robots, self-driving vehicles, and an arm playing ping pong with itself (because why not).
