Northern Hemisphere Moon Phases 2022 - 4K

This 4K graphic depicts the Moon's phase and liberation at hourly intervals in 2022 as seen from the Northern Hemisphere. Each frame is one hour long. This image also depicts the Moon's orbit position, sub-Earth and subsolar points, and distance from the Earth in actual scale. Craters near the terminator, as well as Apollo landing sites, Maria, and other albedo characteristics in sunlight, are labeled.
