Chronological Bible in a Year 2023 - August 19, Day 231 - 2 Kings 24-25, 2 Chronicles 36

Welcome to Day 231, August 19th, 2023. We read of Judah being overrun by their enemies. The reign and captivity of Jehoahaz, Jehoiakim, Jehoiachin, and Zedekiah. Judah and the Temple are destroyed and the people are brought captive into Babylon, save for the poorest of the people. Cyrus, king of Persia, stirred by the Lord, will build a house to God in Jerusalem and all amongst His People can go to be there. This marks the end of the Book of 2 Kings, and the end of the Book of 2 Chronicles.
