Biden compares Ukraine to Taiwan, but refuses to comment on son’s dealings

US President Joe Biden has hosted a trilateral summit with the leaders of Japan and South Korea at his Camp David retreat. Amid increasing tensions with China and North Korea, the three leaders vowed to greatly strengthen their military capabilities.

When making his case for justifying US involvement in the conflict with Ukraine, Biden referenced the situation in Taiwan. But when the US president was asked about his son’s business ties to Ukraine, he refused to comment.
