This Is Why You Don't Hire Strangers To Work On Buildings Off The Street

The new landlord just 21 years old was working outside on the apartment build doing cosmetic changes to the building when a man and a woman with a 4 year old child drove up and said he was looking for work. Said they just moved to the area and were living in their truck or sometimes a hotel.

The landlord thought he he could hire the man and get him to do work he didn't want to do himself. This was to remove the siding from the building I am living in. How hard to remove siding? The land lord aske me to keep a eye on him so what he didn't want removed was left and told me to show the hired man my garden and explain not to damage it where to put his ladder etc which I did.

The hired man destroyed all my raspberry bushes. Crushed the cucumbers and potatoes plants. So badly were the flowers and raspberry plants crush and ground into the ground it now looked like a foot path. Them some how he tore off the internet, cable and phone boxes from the wall as you will see in the video. There is also now exposed outside electrical boxes with bare wires hanging on the outside walls. What if it rains I ask. Will there be a short or worst a fire.

Because of the condition of the outside building maybe this is why the police office asked if I actually lived in the building. It looks like it should be condemned.

He, the man that was hired told me and the landlord he was from Wisconsin, but in the video he told the police office he is from Colorado. So what is the truth? Who cares.

I'm just mad at the damage done to my personal property. My garden. I worry about my safety because of the condition and exposed electrical wires.

This is why you never hire someone off the street without checking them out first. Do a background check. Make sure they have a business license etc.
