Fierce wildfires continue to rage on Spanish island

Massive wildfires persist in Tenerife, compelling thousands of residents to evacuate the area. The fire erupted on Tuesday night and has since scorched around 300 hectares. According to authorities, around 10 helicopters, 150 firefighters and dozens of military servicemen have been deployed to the region in an attempt to contain the blaze.
