Canada wildfires: Thousands flee city in 'apocalyptic' scenes

They've got until Friday at noon to leave town - 20 000 people considered at the highest risk from the approaching wildfires have begun leaving the Canadian city of Yellowknife in long convoys of traffic - as officials warned flames could reach its outskirts by the weekend.
