Valentina Ivanova from Lugansk recalls that her entire family was at home when the shelling began. ‘When the shell hit the house, we got really scared. We thought that we wouldn't make it out alive—none of us ... neither Egorka, nor Dasha, nor Sasha—no one’, Ivanova recalls about that fateful day.

Tragically, their home was completely destroyed due to the Ukrainian bombing. It was then that Ivanova's young son, Sasha, made a heartfelt promise to do everything in his power to help others. Despite his young age - Sasha studies at primary school - he joined a volunteering project that supplies Donbass residents with hot meals daily
