Lake Okeechobee water level too high, Florida Oceanographic Society head says

The head of the Florida Oceanographic Society says the Army Corps of Engineers left water levels in Lake Okeechobee too high in late spring and now may have no choice but to open the spigot wide, so to speak, if tropical weather swells the lake.
