Icarus

Daedalus and his son Icarus were imprisoned by King Minos of Crete.
Daedalus built wings made of feathers and wax so they could escape.
He warned Icarus not to fly too close to the sun, but Icarus became too excited and did not listen.
The wax on his wings melted, and he fell into the sea and drowned.
