Mother of murdered Denver man speaks out following killer's 60-year prison sentence

The mother of a Denver man who was murdered nearly two years ago is speaking out following his killer's sentencing this week. Casandra Watkins said she is doing all she can to keep her only son, Kanajai Burton, 19, close to her heart after losing him to what she referred to as a senseless act of gun violence in Denver. "He was my favorite person, you know, in the whole world and he was taken and there's not going to be anybody who can love me the way my son loved me," said Watkins, as she fought back tears.
