In 2018, NASA's OSIRIS-REx mission began its residence on Bennu, an asteroid comparable in height to a skyscraper and positioned remarkably close to Earth. The mission intricately observed Bennu, creating an intricate tapestry of data since its arrival on December 3, 2018. As of May 10, 2021, OSIRIS-REx embarks on its journey back to Earth, carrying a valuable payload of over 60 grams of asteroid samples. This narrated video comprehensively portrays the mission's trajectory during its tenure at Bennu. Additional information can be found at nasa.gov/osiris-rex. The musical accompaniment features "Visionary" by Andy Blythe and Marten Joustra, as well as "Babel" by Max Cameron Concors, courtesy of Universal Production Music. The data originates from collaborative efforts involving NASA, University of Arizona, CSA, York University, Open University, and MDA. Video production credits belong to NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center and its Scientific Visualization Studio, with Dan Gallagher (USRA) and Kel Elkins (USRA) as Producers, Kel Elkins (USRA) as Lead Data Visualizer, Dan Gallagher (USRA) as the Narrator, Michael Moreau (NASA/GSFC) as Deputy Project Manager, Dante Lauretta (The University of Arizona) as Principal Investigator, and Kenny Getzandanner (NASA/GSFC) among the contributors.#NASA#Space #Astronomy #SpaceExploration #Universe #Cosmos#SpaceMissions #Stargazing #SpaceScience #Astrophotography
