Starting at 4 am in the morning of February 6th, 2023, a series of Massive earthquakes with highest recording of 7.8 magnitude have hit Turkey and Syria causing deaths and leaving thousands injured. Just after a few hours of the disaster, the speculations about HAARP Technology triggering these massive earthquakes have surfaced on social media.

According to United States Geological Survey, Monday’s earthquake is believed to be the strongest earthquake to hit Turkey since 1939. It started a series of quakes which has caused more than 5000 deaths reported so far with thousands injured and loss of billions of dollars to the country.

But Ankara’s Mayor Ibrahim Melih Gökçek on his twitter account has named this as a man-made earth quake and linked it with HAARP Technology.
But what is HAARP Technology and is there any evidence of any Involvement of HAARP Technology by US in this Earth quake.

HAARP stands for High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program. It was a research program funded by the US military and carried out by the University of Alaska from 1990 to 2014. The primary goal of HAARP was to study the ionosphere, a region of the upper atmosphere, and understand how it can affect communication and navigation systems. The program used a high-frequency radio transmitter to excite the ionosphere and study its behavior.
While the program was active, it generated some controversy, with some people claiming it had potentially harmful effects on the environment or even on human health. It was also blamed to have the capability of generating earthquakes.
HAARP has since been decommissioned and the facilities used for the program have been handed over to the University of Alaska. However, US officials have never released any statement to deny the conspiracy.
