The official website of Fulton County, Georgia’s court system published what seemed to be an indictment against former President Donald Trump on Monday, only to subsequently remove it—a perplexing and unexplained action that has drawn criticism from at least one observer who contends that it potentially infringes upon Trump’s constitutional right to due process of law.

Initially, Reuters reported on the existence of the document, but later had to revise its coverage when the document vanished from the court’s website and the office of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis refuted claims of an issued indictment.

Nonetheless, Reuters retained a record of the initial document, which outlines 39 charges against Trump, encompassing offenses such as the serious felony of racketeering, Breitbart News reported.
