How NASA Uses Gravity and Radio Waves to Study Planets and Moons
NASA Radio:
NASA Radio refers to the communication systems and frequencies used by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) for transmitting and receiving signals between Earth and its various spacecraft, satellites, and missions. These radio systems are crucial for sending commands to spacecraft, receiving data and images from distant missions, and maintaining real-time communication with astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS) and other spacecraft.
Gravity:
Gravity is the natural force of attraction that exists between all masses in the universe. It is responsible for pulling objects toward one another. The strength of the gravitational force is proportional to the masses of the objects involved and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. This force is what keeps planets in orbit around stars, moons in orbit around planets, and objects on Earth's surface. Albert Einstein's theory of general relativity provided a deeper understanding of gravity, explaining it as the curvature of spacetime caused by mass and energy.
