COLLECTING FOOD FOR THE NEEDY: Adelaide Central Markets
1 year ago
4
Every 2 weeks on a Saturday, a group of big hearted volunteers from the Rotary Club of Adelaide organise other volunteers to collect left over food from the Central Markets in the city.
There are many shop owners within the markets who so generously donate to the cause, where the food gathered (sometimes 8 shopping trolleys or more) is then delivered to The Salvation Army, St. Vincent De Pauls and a Female Victims of Domestic Violence group.
These interviews took place on the 23rd of November 2019.
To these Go-Givers, Global Heroes says
Thank you
