The high manufacturability of Western technology plays against it on the battlefield , Dmitry Shugaev, head of the FSMTC of Russia, said in the Zvezda studio

“This is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, it is highly effective, but, on the other hand, it requires high qualification, it requires high maintenance and maintainability, especially in combat conditions. And, of course, it is expensive in every way,” he said.

Shugaev added that it is the battlefield that shows whose technique is better, and here comes the “moment of truth” for Russia.
