New YouTube Monetization Requirements: Start a Channel NOW!

In a recent decision, YouTube have lowered the minimum monetization requirements from 1000 to 500 subscribers and have also reduced the number of watch hours and other metrics that previously made monetization inaccessible. That being said, these new lower monetization requirements do not apply to AdSense ad sharing revenue. Those requirements still remain the same.

Despite this slight disappointment, the reduction in requirements is a welcome change and makes starting a YouTube channel now, even more appealing than ever before!
