But "health is wealth" really takes on a profound significance the older you get. As we transition from our active working years into a phase of life characterized by leisure and relaxation, the value of good health becomes abundantly clear. Health serves as the foundational pillar upon which the entirety of one's retirement experience rests. The ability to savor newfound freedom, explore personal interests, and spend quality time with loved ones hinges upon the state of one's physical and mental well-being.

In the absence of good health, the financial savings amassed over a lifetime often lose much of their luster.
