A lot of the gigs feels like they could have been built up further into their own self-contained mini-campaigns, with further steps either preceding or succeeding what occurs in the game right now.

Many times V is hired to rescue someone, only to watch as an unnamed NPC driver takes them away to safety. Why do these gigs have to stop there? Opportunity is right there to stitch on another step where V is still employed by the Fixer to remain with the rescued hostage at a safehouse, providing security against a possible attack by gangs.
