On April 22, 1904, Julius Robert Oppenheimer was born.
He was a participant in the Manhattan Project and is frequently referred to as the inventor of the atomic bomb.
The intriguing element was that he later worked to stop the research and production of nuclear weapons, and he passed away in 1967 at the age of 62.
